Beach artist on mission to beautify and open doors

2 min read

To the editor:

I’m on a mission to promote the arts island-wide to help not only to beautify the island with art, but also to open doors for future local artists to get their work out in our every growing art based community.

The next goal is to create art to be displayed all the way up and down the bridge on the blue barrier. I’d like to be able to work with the Town of Fort Myers Beach to brighten up our town’s first impression, Matanzas Bridge. As visitors come over the bridge, they would be able view incredible beach scenes, palm trees and all sort of island based images that stretch from one side of the bridge to the other side for all to enjoy as they enter and exit our island

Also, I am still working hard for our island kids at Beach Elementary and their art program through what is known as “FMB Arts For Action.” As local artists, we plan shows and give a majority of the proceeds raised to the school art program to enhance the level of artistic output from our greatest of minds-our children.

If anyone is interested in creating a mural on their business building, home, or anywhere, please feel free to contact me. Search “Ft. Myers Beach Arts For Action” page on Facebook.
