Bank closing frustrates resident

To the editor:

News that Wells Fargo Bank is to be closed at the south end of Estero Boulevard on Fort Myers Beach by June 4, 2013, will clearly be an obstacle to the marked increase in travel.

For at least 10 months, getting off the island is bad enough with vehicles backed up two to three miles.

The closing of the Wells Fargo in the south end is ridiculous as this is where the growth is and the bank could and would benefit. Increasing in its service would be a further plus.
