Thanks go to BBQ event donators

A big THANK YOU goes to the many folks that attended the fabulous third annual Smokin’ in the Mangroves last Saturday. Not only was there a fantastic Rib & Wing competition, but donations were collected for one of our own Beach Elementary Kids, Lee Ann Wheeler.
Lee Ann was able to attend the event after several operations in Tampa to address a virus that attacked her brain.
The total amount collected was $1,786. Donations were made by Ku-Ku Ku-Nu-Ku, Surf Club, Santini Market, Fish Tale Marina, Santini Marina Plaza, Richard & Tina LaBerge and the numerous patrons that attended the event.
We are thrilled to make this donation to a very special local kid.
