Home Tour Chairperson thanks all involved
To the editor:
The Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club is very grateful for all of the community support for our annual home tour. We want to give a big thank you to the homeowners who agreed to feature their beautiful homes on the tour. The owners are: Christine and Michael Parrish, Ed and Nancy Wagoner, Tom and Linda Cobb, Jo and Henry “Hank” Rothenberg and Tom Snook and Linda Scharlow.
We owe thank yous to many other people for the support they gave us. The Sandpaper and the Beach Observer both did feature articles with pictures, the News-Press included us on their calendars, the staff at both Century 21 Tripower Realty offices sold many tickets for us, and many friends of Woman’s Club members served as hostesses in the homes. Finally, we thank the neighbors of the homes that were open. We brought a lot of traffic to Williams Drive, Indian Bayou Drive and Bahia Via. We appreciate your neighborliness and tolerance.
This annual home tour project allows the Woman’s Club to contribute to several charities. Last year, we contributed to Bay Oaks Summer Camp for Kids, Bay Oaks Scholarship Fund, Ronald McDonald House, Gabriel House, Hope Hospice and Find a Home Give a Home. Our members will vote for their favorite charities again this year.
Thank you to all who helped the Ft Myers Beach Woman’s Club with this year’s Tour of Homes. We are especially grateful for the perfect weather!
