Island Board of Trade announces Big Carlos stakeholders meeting

To the editor:

Thank you to our friends and customers who have taken the time to send a letter to the Lee County officials asking for the Big Carlos to be dredged. You sent some really GREAT letters. We are waiting to hear their response and will inform you of their remarks.

Another stakeholders’ meeting is going to be held on Feb. 14, at 9 a.m. at Fish Tale Marina Ship’s Store. We need to determine where/how deep/how wide to dredge the pass. Your presence and input are needed. Our government officials are being invited to attend.
