Resident furious over business loan gone bad
To the editor:
Last year, I loaned the owners of Great Adventure RV on San Carlos Boulevard the sum of $5,000 for their business. The loan was to be re-paid in 45 days and, after 45 days, they paid me $1,200 and asked me to extend the loan another 45 days. I agreed.
Five months later, they continued to lie and avoid me about repayment. So I had no choice but to take legal action. They were court ordered to pay me $500 a month, which they paid for only one month. I then proceeded to take out a judgment on them both of which were granted by the court. At least six other people have judgments on them. I have the proof or you go to the Lee County Clerk of Courts public records at leeclerk.org under Davis, Rich or Davis, Nick or Great Adventure RV to see for yourself.
To date, they owe me $3,200 and have refused to pay me. I would like to add they have been on Fox 4 news for not refunding deposits on RV rentals and many people have written complaints about them on craigslist. They also have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau.
I want to inform the public because these people continue today to run this dishonest business. I would like to warn other people not to do business with them and stay clear of these con artists. I have all the documentation to back this claim up. I can make it available at any time.
