Beach Library is now a cultural center

To the editor:

Wow! I noticed we are now calling the expanded Library a “Cultural Center!”

What started as the Fort Myers Beach Library is now to be known as a “Community Center” and a “Cultural Center!” What next, a “Civic Center?”

It’s too bad the original surveys were lost; I wonder what we called the proposed facility then?

I guess future references will be “Internet Caf,” Banquet Hall” and “Museum.” A few years from now, the building won’t even contain books.
