Theater sign drums up support to stay as is
To the editor:
I read the editorial someone wrote regarding the Beach Theater marquee and agree the owners should be allowed an exception as to the height of their sign.
We who live year round on Fort Myers Beach enjoy the theater and eagerly await new movies they present. They provide us with great entertainment, yet they have struggled mightily to stay in business.
Let’s not do anything that will hurt their chances of staying on the Beach. I’m sure there are many moviegoers here that would agree that their sign is not the least bit obtrusive.
