Aircraft noise is tamer than other transportation

To the editor:

Mr. Larry Kiker, please do me a favor.

Take a decibel meter to the beach and record aircraft noise during any period you choose.

Next take readings of motorcycle noise levels.

Finally check the noise levels of the offshore boats that fly by and then let me know the results.

Airlines bring people to the beach. Motorcycles and offshore boats bring noise and lots of it.

I’ll take the aircraft any day.
