Turn signal letter takes left turn to reader

To the editor:

I would like to thank Mr. John “Full Time” Smith for his heartfelt welcome to our snowbirds. I’ve thought about his sage guidance, and I’ve come to the same conclusion as he; it’s those damned snowbirds that fail to signal.

I, for one, have always wondered where that pesky indicator was, and I’ve never been able to remember whether to push it up or down. Next to the steering wheel, you say. Great tip there, Full Time.

Down economy, unemployment, traffic congestion, political hardball amongst our taxing districts; God knows how you found time to bring this important issue to our attention. But you did, and we’ll be forever in your debt.

We also owe our thanks to the Beach Observer for making this opus their lead letter. Please continue doing whatever you can to enhance the relationship between locals and snowbirds.

So to you and to our friend Full Time, keep up the good work.
