A letter from Florida Senate President Mike Haridopolos
Dear Friends:
- Earlier this week, I officially announced my support for Representative Connie Mack’s decision to seek the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate. Connie is a lifelong, true Republican whose public service tenure is built on unwavering, conservative values and votes. Together, in the Florida Legislature, Connie and I stood with other defenders of freedom who believe in smaller government, less taxes and a free marketplace. Connie believes, as I do, in supporting the private sector to create jobs and right our economy. He also believes that nationalized, mandatory health care is unconstitutional, and he was one of the first members of Congress to introduce legislation to fight Obamacare. And even better, Connie has an undeniable record to stand on when he stands up for conservative values in Washington.
My wife, Stephanie, and I will be supporting Connie as he and his family, and growing number of supporters, work toward a true Republican victory on Primary night. Just as we campaigned together when I was seeking the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate, Stephanie and I will be working for Connie and for the future of our great state and nation. During our campaign, you supported me and I will befor ever humbled and grateful for that unyielding support. I urge you to support Connie Mack, and I ask that you fight for him and the values we all hold dear, just as you fought for me and our collective vision for a better Florida and a more conservative and fiscally responsible and prosperous nation.
