Mound House volunteer pleased with Council decision

To the editor:

I want to thank Mayor Kiker and the Town Council for voting to allow present Mound House volunteers to continue being volunteers until the issue of the Criminal Background Check requirement is finalized.

I appreciate your listening to my concerns at Monday night’s meeting and that you will be taking this issue up again on Nov. 7.
