AMIkids director applauds community support

To the editor:

I just wanted to thank you so much for your support of AMIkids Southwest Florida and for the article regarding AMIkids Southwest Florida’s recent graduation.

We are so proud of the accomplishments of our graduates and the great work that AMIkids is doing in partnership with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and Lee County Schools in that area.

To echo Representative Caldwell’s comments, this is a great opportunity for our kids to put their past behind them and focus on the bright future we know is possible for them. The support of the local community is vital to our kids’ success and working together with well-respected organizations like Fort Myers Beach Observer can only serve to help our kids achieve that much more.

Thank you, again, for all you are doing in the community, for AMIkids Southwest Florida and our kids.
