Beach school PTO looks for donations

The Fort Myers Beach Elementary School PTO will be hosting our 9th Annual Golf Scramble on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Fort Myers Beach Golf Course. The event will feature a round of golf, luncheons catered by the Fish Monger Restaurant, awesome raffle prizes & live music. We will also host a pre-tournament Cinco De Mayo Cocktail Party and Silent Auction at Bayfront Bistro on May 5.
Both events are well known around the beach for being great fun and having lots of fantastic prizes. We are contacting you today to request a golf tournament sponsorship and/or a donation of goods and/or services. We will use these items in our auction and raffle to raise money for the kids at the Beach School. We can’t do it without you and our Beach kids really need your help!
The Fort Myers Beach Elementary School is an A-rated school and a vital part of the Fort Myers Beach community. Time and time again the businesses and residents of Fort Myers Beach unite to help raise money for projects to improve the school. Your donations pay for field trips, supplies, awards and special events for students. This year we are working to add extra shading to our outdoor play areas.
We would be very grateful for any donation/sponsorship and you can use your donation/sponsorship to introduce your business to potential new customers. Suggested items would include: Gift cards, merchandise, event tickets, hotel room nights or other specialty items.
