Times square act is responsible and respectful
To the editor:
I’m writing in response to a recent letter to the editor regarding offended part-time snowbirds that take exception to the couple performing the magic act in Times Square.
As a long-time friend, I personally know Joe and Julie and take exception to a blatantly uninformed view of one the Beach’s most responsible and respectful couples.
A couple of point I need to make. There ‘poor’ dog is one of the best cared for dogs I’ve seen. Secondly, they are one of the few acts who go through the proper chain of local command to retain proper permits to perform.
If these people feel so offended, then they are in a very small minority. Sounds like they took a wrong turn to the Beach when they should have ended up at Shell Point. That sounds like much more of their pace.
