Pic of week disturbs resident

To the editor:

I could not believe my eyes when I saw the picture of the buried dog (Beach Observer 3-23-11 issue).

What is wrong with people? That poor dog was immobilized. Can you imagine how scared it was?! Not to be able to move and buried up to his head!

Shame on those parents! I’m surprised the humane society didn’t take the dog away. Let’s bury the parents up to their heads in the hot sand. Very disturbing photo- some people shouldn’t have pets, and they are one of them. I wonder what Nolan will bury next thinking that it’s ok to do that.
