One Human Family and the FMB Shrimp Parade
To the editor:
One Human Family is proud to announce that we will be in this yea’rs shrimp parade, as we continue to spread the message of community and unity throughout the nation, we now bring that very same message of being “1” to our own hometown.
The 2011 Shrimp Festival parade seemed to be a perfect avenue for an opportunity to raise awareness upon the notion of all human beings are created equal, while we intend to be on full display during the shrimp parade and festival with stickers, wrist bands, banners, positive signs and so much more to lift up the spirit of togetherness with our town full of residents who believe in the power of “1”.
We are currently working with The Beach Arts Co-0p, “1” FMB – Community and Unity Project, as well as many other non profit organizations to participate on this very special day .We are also in the midst of working with the local churches, the beach school, and all local business leaders to lend support for such a good cause.
We call on all residents, local politicians, families, children, and yourself reading this to get involved with ONE HUMAN FAMILY as it is all for the greatness to lend a voice of compassion, creativity, education and understanding, which only enhances our quality of life for not only ourselves, yet most importantly “Our Children.”
We aim to be seen and heard with ideas and visions that will come from yourselves to make this involvement in the shrimp parade that much better, without your input we stand alone as we encourage dialogue to really make the day what you want it to be through One Human Family.
I personally invite any and all to please contact me for any needed information of how to be involved, we shall meet by the beach school at 8 a.m. on March 12, to organize and get ourselves set in place for the parade. We would like for you to take the initiative to create signs of positive messages not only for One Human Family, yet for community and unity spirit as well.
This is just the beginning for our beach to lead in the right direction, while showing our youth that being active in your own community can and will reach the highest of grounds for all of the right reasons through education, involvement and the simple idea of being “1.”
