Not My Choice!
To the editor:
At a time in our nation when we are looking for integrity, honesty and character in our elected officials, we now have Carl Conley running for our town council.
Conley has a dubious and shady past. I find it incredibly hard to believe that anyone would support this self-servicing individual who was just arrested for criminal charges for illegal activities.
What message does that reflect on our community? Conley has never served our town in any capacity or volunteered his time on any committees. He often misquoted and censored the truth in his paper and brought dissention and animosity in our community. The citizens of Fort Myers Beach deserve better.
