FMB Woman’s Club thanks all involved

The Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club is very grateful for all of the community support for our annual home tour. We want to give a big thank you to the homeowners who agreed to feature their homes on the tour. The owners are: Dick and Brenda Battles; Gabrielle Dankert; Phil and Beth Berra; Donald and Lorraine Rollins; Grace Copia; and Ed and Joan Tschiggfrie.
We owe thank yous to many other people for the support they gave us: Kiwanis Thrift Shop and Loffreno Realty did special advertising for us; the Beach Observer and Island Sand Paper both did feature articles with pictures; the staff at both Century 21 Tripower Realty offices sold many tickets for us; Dennis Prock made a generous contribution to the club; and many friends of Woman’s Club members served as hostesses in the homes. Finally, we thank the neighbors of the homes that were open. We brought a lot of traffic to Laguna Shores and Fairview Isles, and we appreciate your neighborliness and tolerance.
This annual home tour project allows the Woman’s Club to contribute to several charities. Last year, we contributed to Bay Oaks Summer Camp; Hope Hospice; Ronald McDonald House; Gabriel House; LARC; Toys for Tots; and the Salvation Army. Our members will vote for their favorite charities again this year. Thank you to all who helped the Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club with this year’s Tour of Homes.
