Newly elected official thanks supporters
To the editor:
As the newly elected District 1 representative for the Lee County School Board, I am humbled and honored.
I give my sincere thanks to all of the voters who had the confidence to select me for the position. I will join with the other four board members in moving the district forward as we face the challenges of selecting a new superintendent while addressing transportation, school financing and accountability issues. We will welcome community input and involvement.
I wish to thank those who supported my campaign, my family and friends who selflessly gave of their time and energy to make it happen, especially
Sue and Ed Morales, Wendy and Dan Lynch and Vicki and Doug Santini, and my amazing grandchildren!
Now we can focus on bringing divergent perspectives together and creating results that work.
