Fire board candidate thanks supporters

To the editor:

I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone that helped me with my campaign. From those that endorsed me, contributed to my campaign and those who voted for me, I thank you.

Even though I was unsuccessful in my attempt, I would still like to encourage everyone in the Fort Myers Beach Fire District to attend the monthly meetings. Listen to what the commissioners have to say and, if you don’t agree with an issue, stand up and be heard.

It’s the commissioners’ job to listen to the taxpayers and to react to your comments.

Again, thank you for all your support. I’ll see you at the fire commission meetings the third Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m.
