Resident endorses fire board candidates

To the editor:

I am endorsing two candidates for FMB Fire Commission: Al Agathen and “Flip” Harby. These are two men who I believe because of their background and who are capable of looking at both sides of the issues that may come before the board.

Al, having been a fire fighter in the state of Wisconsin, and “Flip,” having been a prior fire commissioner, have a wealth of knowledge to call upon immediately from their previous experiences. I believe these men realize what their constituents’ concerns are as far as the cost factors that must be considered in the years ahead.

I feel they can look at the issues on the board’s agenda and make qualified judgments with the view of the fire department and the view of the voter.

That is why I am marking my ballot for Al Agathen and Gordon “Flip” Harby.
