An easy choice

To the editor:

Ever since we moved to Fort Myers Beach in 1995, the Beach Fire District has concerned me and, I must say, most taxpayers. From property taxes, the local fire district receives about three times the money our city receives.

Now we have the opportunity to end the tax and spending programs that have been approved by 3-2 votes for years by the Beach Fire Commission.

If you expect lower taxes and spending, vote for Carol Morris and Ted Schindler to do the job.

Yes. It is an easy and sound choice.
