Alex Sink will be Florida’s next governor
To the editor:
Alex Sink, Democrat, will easily become Florida’s next governor.
Here are the facts. Rick Scott, Republican, has had his candidacy destroyed by the Republican Party of Florida. During the Republican primary, the RPOF characterized Mr. Scott as being a man not qualified to be a Republican or governor of Florida. They claimed that he made his millions by being a crook. They said he was disingenuous, unscrupulous and not to be trusted. They told us that, as governor, he would shame all Floridians. And now, because Rick Scott did indeed win the nomination, the party pinheads, believing that we are idiots, are telling us that for the sake of the party, we must support Mr. Scott because he’s really a good guy.
Talk about disingenuous and shameful behavior. This takes the cake. To all of us, it was obvious a number of months ago that the ‘back door bullies’ would ruin the RPOF by forcing Gov. Christ out of the party, using half-truths and absolute lies and by supporting Marco Rubio for the U.S. Senate, after Rubio admitted to misusing donor monies, taking thousands of GOP dollars and spending it on personal pleasure. The RPOF began the demise of the party.
It became obvious that the party goons, hiding behind the scenes, placed no value on honesty, truth, loyalty or capability. To the RPOF, the key word is manipulation, and they depend on the stupidity of the electorate.
It will be interesting to see where they point their fingers after the November election. Charlie Crist will win. Alex Sink will win. And other candidates that are supported by the shameful RPOF will lose, because they were spineless and hitched their wagon to a party of ‘back-door bullies’ that could care less about the future of Florida. If a candidate is supported by the RPOF, that should be the signal to vote for the opponent. It should always be the people before the party.
