Crist makes us all independent
To the editor:
Governor Charlie Crist has displayed a commendable level of both courage and conviction by freeing himself from the Republican Party.
By refusing to be influenced by party goers, the governor has provided us all the opportunity to vote for a man who is not afraid of ‘going it alone,’ and who has the freedom to make decisions that reflect the best interests of the people and not the party.
The Republican Party of Florida, instead of conducting themselves professionally, has now sunk to despicable levels and has forced thousands of heretofore loyal Republicans to leave the party and become independent.
Unfortunately, the RPOF has completely lost its focus and has been taken over by a group of individuals who tell us that backing a Marco Rubio, who admitted to misuse of GOP donor monies and has openly displayed racist tendencies, is a right and proper choice. And, to make it worse, the pinheads have shamed us all by manufacturing half truths and down right lies about a wonderful man who has served the people of Florida with dignity, respect and compassion. He has shown a remarkable level of absolute capability.
In the next few months, the desperate RPOF will continue with disingenuous babbling and hope that voters are stupid and won’t recognize the difference between good and evil.
Donor monies should not be sent to either the untruthful RPOF or to any Republican candidate who supports Rubio’s shameful behavior.
We should all thank Charlie Crist for showing us the light, giving us a chance to be independent and for serving us well. Charlie Crist will make a great U.S. Senator.
