Memorial committee says thanks to all

To the editor:

The Don Wade and Lil Betty Memorial Committee would like to take the time to give you all a big thank you for your donation which has amounted to more than $176,500 to date for our local Fort Myers Veterans Administration Clinic.

This year was one of our best. we collected more than $16,500 with the help of our sponsors, volunteers, golfers, bikers/bus runs, shrimp boils, VFW and VCA clubs. We also collected $5,000 from the Sons of the Legion and another $5,000 from the American Legion. In all, a total of $26,500 was collected for our 17th year in 2010.
