Bay Oaks needs support

Islanders can help Bay Oaks and have a good time in the process.
Last year, Lee County turned over Bay Oaks to our Town. Lee County withdrew the financial backing for Bay Oaks, which they had previously given Bay Oaks recreation center. The FMB Town Council has scrambled to continue the area’s recreation center and look for sources of funding. Residents and guests can help now.
On March 27, from 7 to 11 p.m., a dance fundraiser is being held at Bay Oaks. All proceeds go to support our recreation center. Bay Oaks is for seniors and kids and every one in between. You can help!everyone.
This fifties/sixties dance music event is sponsored by the FMB Civic Association, the Mermaid Lounge, and the Beached Whale. Drinks will be available with these proceeds to Bay Oaks as well.
The $15 tickets are on sale by the sponsors, or at the door.
It will be a fun event! Be there.
