San Carlos Drive not Court

The so-called San Carlos Island Drainage Project is the brainchild of several clever San Carlos Drive residents that were fortunate to locate an easy-to-manipulate public servant at the Municipal Service Taxing Benefit Unit. Hence, the project was born.
I have a very small building located on the corner of South Street and San Carlos “Court” that suffers no drainage issues due to the fact that I paid approximately $10,000 to install storm water piping. Now, along comes MSTBU Denise Sabatini and incorporates my property in the project.
Listen to this, as I mentioned my piping is in place. They are hooking on to it, and they still are going to charge me as if new piping was being installed. That’s approximately $15,000 to bring the total to $25,000 for a problem I don’t have. Does that sound fair to you???
I fell this MSTBU branch is in dire need of a new coordinator. Mid-April is the expected completion date, but it should be more like March. When it’s done early, who do you think wants the “Attaboy Award??” Ya, you guessed it.
