Next step in air travel
To the editor:
Several years ago, Richard Reid, the Shoe Bomber, tried to bring down an airplane by hiding explosives in his shoes. Since that time, everyone boarding an airplane has to take off his/her shoes to be sure they aren’t carrying hidden explosives.
Apparently, the latest attempted airplane bombing, by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, was done by hiding the explosives in his underwear.
