Free activity page for kids

1 min read

To the editor:

To help you raise awareness of Fire Prevention Week in your community,

Newspaper Fun is again providing a complimentary activity page.

This year the page features fire safety tips and a timeline that explores

how people have worked to reduce fire deaths.

In 2008 more than 2,775 people died in fires, with 83 percent of them occuring in the home, according to the National Fire Protection Association. In their report, the NFPA called for “more widespread public fire safety

education…on how to prevent fires and how to avoid serious injury or death

if fire occurs.”

To get your complimentary Newspaper Fun Fire Safety page, go to

www.newspaperfun.com, click on the fire safety page ad, and provide only

your newspaper name and email address. Then download the best feature format and size to fit your paper (a miniature of the full-size, 10×15.5 format is attached).

We hope you will share this feature with your community and we wish you a

safe autumn.
