Beach Pilots give thanks to all involved in cleanup

We wish to thank the students, family, friends and faculty of Beach Elementary for their help and support in Saturday’s Coast Cleanup, sponsored by Keep Lee County Beautiful. Special thanks goes to the Flowers family for their assistance with set-up and the planning that makes these events run smoothly year after year. Beach Elementary has a long standing history of support and their efforts on Saturday did not disappoint! Saturday’s Coastal Cleanup on Fort Myers Beach may have experienced record participation as Scout Troops, Fort Myers High School clubs, corporate teams and college students all pitched in to clean up Fort Myers Beach. It is a great pleasure to see the commitment of so many people desiring to keep our Fort Myers beaches looking fabulous!
