Are we in danger?

2 min read

President Obama is a likeable family man who is both articulate and energetic. Although not supported with results as yet, his proclamations have been replete with hope for the Nation.

It’s hard not to like this president. The problem, however, is the fact that we live in a dangerous world where many leaders of other nations hate the United States, and have sworn to destroy us.

These leaders, many immoral, are tough, experienced and trained to use every devious means while negotiating with an adversary.

President Obama is naive and inexperienced, especially in dealing with vicious and violent sharks, and by traveling to these danderous dens of inequity with his wife and young daughters, he demonstrates a worrisome lack of understanding concerning the mid-sets of the characters he must deal with.

At vacation time, certainly Mr. Obama should include his family. But, when deals need to be made concerning the security of America and indeed the safety of the world mixing business with pleasure is both out of place and extremely dangerous. Trips to Russia, China, North Korea or, for that matter, any place where deals are on the table should be made by the president… accompanied by our toughest and most experienced diplomats.

Self-confidence is an ingredient in Mr. Obama’s personality that is admirable, but when self-confidence is overwhelmed by arrogance, especially involving critical dealings, nothing can replace experience.

Now, more than ever, we need to hope that God will bless America.
