Alice Amaty
Alice Amaty of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 following some recent health challenges. She was 91 years old.
Alice was born on February 6, 1926 and was the beautiful daughter of Alice (Connors) and John McNally. She was loving wife to the late Walter J. Amaty; mother of the late Walter J. Amaty Jr. and Mary Ellen Andruk. She is survived by her devoted daughter Bridget Balletto and her husband Thomas. Alice was the loving grandmother to William Andruk, Michael Andruk, Nicole and Jason Van Buskirk, Charles and Rebecca Balletto, Bridget and Phillip Basso and was great grandmother to Thomas, Nicholas, Alyssa, Reece, Meredith, Phillip, Emerson, Oliver, Amelia and Alice. She was also sister of the late Joan Maio, John McNally, Thomas McNally, Florence McNally and Laurence McNally.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Alice raised her family in Valley Stream and thereafter retired to Greentown, Pennsylvania. She later relocated to Southwest Florida and resided at Calusa Harbor Senior Living in Fort Myers. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
