Mary Elizabeth Cheatham
Mary Elizabeth Cheatham, 64, of Fort Myers Beach, died Nov. 5, with her family by her side. Mary was born July 11, 1949 in Annapolis, Md. She was married and lived in Glen Burnie, Md., for nearly 30 years to the love of her life, Stephen M. Cheatham, Sr., until his untimely death in 1994.
Mary moved to Fort Myers Beach in 1994 where she started a charter fishing business. She enjoyed fishing, karaoke and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
Mary is survived by her children and their spouses: Dawn Hunt, Stephen, Jr. and Jennifer Cheatham, and Eugene and Laura Cheatham; brothers, sister and their spouses, Richard and Portia Hawkins, Frank, Jr. and Kathy Skubal, and George and Maria Dawson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for her Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, on Fort?Myers Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Hope HealthCare Services, Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
