Robert Edward Lee Nyberg, 70
Robert Edward Lee Nyberg, 70, of Fort Myers Beach, died May 21, 2013 at Hope Hospice, Fort Myers. He was born Dec. 25, 1942 in Brandon, Fla., a child of Robert Faraday and Ruby Clara (Hagon) Nyberg.
A resident of Fort Myers Beach since 2007, he previously lived in Cape Coral for 12 years, where he worked as a supervisor in the building industry. Before retirement, he was employed as a Project Manager at nuclear power plants in New York, Massachusetts and California.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rosalina “Nina” (Afanador) Nyberg, his sons, Jorge A. (Janet) Carabelli of El Portal, Fla., James Owen Nyberg of North Fort Myers, Robert Edward Lee Nyberg II of Newland, North Carolina and Martin L. (Cheri Bragg) Nyberg of Fort Myers Beach, and his brothers, Oliver Gene (Christine) Nyberg of Newland, North Carolina and Carl Nyberg of Asheville, NC.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Bonita Bill’s Waterfront Caf, 702 Fishermans Wharf, Fort Myers Beach.
