Elaine Judith ‘Judee’ Fox

Elaine Judith “Judee” Fox, 68, of Cape Coral, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011,

in Tampa.

She was born Dec. 15, 1942, in Bellevue, Pa., a child of John and Helen

(Laughlin) Welch, and lived in Aliquippa, Pa, and Madison, Ohio. She was a

graduate of Hopewell High School and attended Robert Morris University. She

was an active member of the Fort Myers Beach Yacht Club and a member of the

Fort Myers Beach Moose Lodge.

Throughout her life she volunteered at her children’s schools; was active in

her communities at the Rabbit Run Theater and Garden Club in Madison, Ohio;

taught driver’s education; and was an avid boater, both on Lake Erie and in

Southwest Florida.

She is survived by her daughter, Lorie (Philip) VanWinkle of Fort Myers and

a son, Lloyd Edward (Tracy) Fox of Mentor, Ohio; her stepfather, Carl “Ed”

Haught of Fort Myers; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Lloyd E. Fox

Jr., who passed away Jan. 30, 2011.
