Shawn Marie Smith obit
Shawn Marie Smith, 47 of Fort Myers Beach, died Oct. 16, 2010,from complications of cancer. Shawn was born in Port Huron, Mich., on Sept. 4, 1963. She attended Western Michigan University and Florida State University where she studied music. Shawn loved living on Fort Myers Beach, her friends, gardening, cooking, reading, boating and celebrating life.
She survived by her parents, Robert and Helen Smith of Naples: sisters, Kelly Smith and Erin Smith, both of Naples: and brother Timothy (Tiffaney) Smith of Oakland, Calif.; nephew, Sean Smith; and nieces, Skylar and Avalon Smith.
There will be no funeral service. A memorial will be held at a later date.
