Bradford obit
Albert E. Bradford, 90, of Fort Myers Beach, passed away Sept. 27, 2010 at Community Hospital in Anderson, Ind. He was born June 14, 1920 in Alexandria, Ind., moving to Fort Myers Beach, Fla., in 1953.
He was a firefighter at Fort Myers Beach, Fla., from 1953 to 1985, and was a lifetime member.
He is survived by his children, Charles Bradford of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., James Bradford (Tammy) of Fort Myers Beach, Mike Bradford (Becky) of Phoenix, Az., Patricia Perkins (Dennis) of Fort Myers, and Edward Bradford (Sherri) of Bonita Springs; sisters Martha L. Lohmann, Pat Vogel and Janett Rastatter; brother, Robert Bradford; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen (Stevens) Bradford and siblings, Bill Bradford, Shirley Bradford and Mary Helen (Bradford) Flecker.
Family and friends celebrated Al’s life at his home at 169 Chapel St. this past Sunday (Oct. 10) from 2 to 6 p.m.
