Jack E. Moore obit

Long-time Beach resident Jack E. Moore, 74, recently of Fort Myers passed away peacefully on Aug. 26, 2010.
Jack is survived by wife, Vicky: daughters, Diana Moore of Orlando Fla.; Elena Hecht and husband David of St. Augustine, Fla.;, Karen Moore of High Point, N.C.; granddaughter, Amanda Argiro of Winston Salem, N.C.; one great-granddaughter, Kira Argiro; and step-sons Shaun and Larry O’Reilly.
Jack retired as a Chief Petty Officer from the U.S. Navy after 21 years of service and, in 1973, began a successful career in Real Estate sales. After moving to Fort Myers Beach in 1975, Jack began working for Tropical Hut Realty and, in later years, opened his own business -Jack Moore Realty located on McGregor Boulevard. Jack later retired from Real Estate and began enjoying his retirement with Vicky in their RV along the Gulf Beaches.
Jack will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He touched the lives of many and will be remembered by his sense of humor and how much he enjoyed life, how he loved being on the water fishing, eating and just having a good time!
