Two motorcyclists killed in Glades County crash
A Cape Coral man was killed in a two-motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon at Loblolly Bay Road and Altman Lane in Glades County. The other driver also died in the crash.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Fabio A. Ramos, 29, of Cape Coral, was killed at 3:45 p.m. when his 2017 BMW motorcycle collided with a 2017 Ducati motorcycle driven by Steve Nunes Jr., 26, of Saginaw, Texas.
The FHP reported that the accident occurred as both drivers were headed east on Loblolly Bay Road, with Nunes in front of Ramos. When Nunes tried to make an “improper” U-turn in front of Ramos, the two motorcycles collided. Both drivers were ejected from their motorcycles.
