All-County Chorus to perform Thursday at Cape High School

This Thursday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m., the top singers in middle and high schools from across the School District of Lee County will participate in a joint chorus concert at Cape Coral High School.

Chorus teachers have selected their top vocalists to represent their schools. Students nominated for this event are recognized by their teachers for their musicianship and leadership.

J. Christine Lee will serve as the guest conductor for the high school chorus. She is director of choral activities at Olympia High School in Orlando. She also serves as assistant director of the Orlando Choral Society and more.

The middle school guest conductor is David Ple-tincks, the choral director at Powell Middle School Performing Arts Center in Spring Hill, Florida.

The concert is open to the public at no charge. Tickets are not required. Cape High is at 2300 Santa Barbara Blvd., in Cape Coral.
