Storm damage causes road closures in Cape
Shortly before 10 a.m. today, the Cape Coral Police Department reported that it is on the scene where a suspected tornado touched down in the area of the 2000 block of Northwest 26th Place.
In addition, police reported, in the 2400-2800 block of Van Buren Parkway, north to Kismet Parkway, roadways will be blocked due to debris in the area. Drivers are asked to please avoid the area.
No injuries have been reported. Power is out to the area and LCEC is on scene making repairs.
