Sheriff’s Deputies seeking identity of alleged kidnap suspect
On Thursday, Oct. 10, at approximately 10 a.m., the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a call for service reference to the kidnapping of a child near the Villas neighborhood of Fort Myers, in the area of Beacon Boulevard and Coronet Street. The child has been recovered and is now safe, deputies reported.
Detectives with the LCSO Major Crimes Unit began investigating, which revealed an unknown suspect who has been depicted in the sketch.
Detectives further developed a description of the suspect vehicle, a red in color 4-door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet. The suspect was described as wearing blue jeans, a plain red T-shirt, and a camouflage hat.
