Legion Post to host blood drive Oct. 19

American Legion Post #90 in Cape Coral will be holding a blood drive on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 1-5 p.m.

The post is at 1401 S.E. 47th St., in South Cape. The Legion’s goal for the drive is 25-plus units.

Donations made through the Lee Health Blood Center will stay in Lee County to benefit local residents and visitors in need.

All donors will receive a thank you gift and wellness checkup, including blood pressure, temperature, iron count and cholesterol screening.
