CCPD working shooting incident
At 3:53 p.m., Cape Coral Police reported that officers are currently working a shooting incident. The incident occurred at 1013 S.E. 24th Ave., and there is no current threat to the public at large, police said.
Drivers are urged to please avoid the area and seek an alternate route if possible (see map).
