Bike Nights wrap up this Saturday

Cape Coral Parks and Recreation’s final Bike Night of the season is set for Saturday.

City of Cape Coral Special Events Coordinator Todd King said he thinks this season’s bike nights went great. With each Bike Night, they learned a little more about the new streetscape along Southeast 47th Terrace and how to effectively place the event in the space.

“The new streetscape is working out better each time we run the event. We are excited. We are moving forward with a pretty effective plan and I think it will only get better,” he said.

The last Bike Night will again be held along Southeast 47th from 5-10 p.m.

“The stage will be on the normal lot at 8th Court with three acts on the street,” King said.

Relentless Fire will perform from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Signal III will perform from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Completely Unchained – Van Halen Tribute will perform from 8:30 to 10 p.m.

“It’s going to be loud rock and roll, good food and lots of fun.” King said.

Motorcycle parking is allowed on the street until 11 p.m.

He said that gives bikers an hour after the event to move their motorcycles to another parking location.
