1 min read

Update: The city of Cape Coral announced that water service has been restored to the area.

The city of Cape Coral has reported that a contractor damaged a potable water line today in the 300 block of Chiquita Boulevard, South, which has interrupted service to homes and businesses in several locations in the Northwest Cape. This includes the Publix shopping center at Burnt Store Road and Pine Island Road, Mariner Middle and High schools, Lee County Public Library, Jim Jeffers Park and Blue Water Coach homes, and other locations.

Water is expected to be off up to four hours, according to the city. (See the attached map for the roads and locations impacted.)

Customers should receive an automated notification due to this service interruption. Notifications are sent to the contact number associated with the corresponding utilities account. Customers can update contact information on the city’s website at www.capecoral.net by selecting “I Want To” at the top of the homepage and then “Manage My Utilities Account.”
