Utility repair causes lane closure on Santa Barbara Boulevard
The northbound lanes of Santa Barbara Boulevard have been reduced to two lanes due to repairs that are needed to an irrigation main. One lane of Santa Barbara Boulevard is closed between Southwest 31st Terrace and Southwest 29th Terrace. Utilities crews are working to make necessary repairs.
The roadway was damaged due to the main break and also will require repairs that make take several days, city officials said Tuesday afternoon.
Drivers should use extra caution in this area due to the lane closure and a nearby construction zone that is part of a private development project, officials advised.
