Sounds of Jazz is sold out
A one-of-a-kind musical experience has sold out yet again in Cape Coral.
“It’s a super popular event,” said Kristin Bean, senior recreational specialist for the Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Department. “The night involves food, music and being social with your neighbors. There are lots of experiences all wrapped up into one night.”
Location also contributes to the event’s popularity.
“The location is a beautiful spot,” she added. “It ties in with the evening — the food, the atmosphere. The location puts the experience on another level.”
The Sounds of Jazz & Blues will be held at Tarpon Point Marina this Saturday evening.
Gruv Therapy, B-Side Jones and The Rippingtons will take to an outdoor stage to perform smooth rhythmic sounds for the 1,600 lucky enough to have obtained tickets in advance.
Food for the event will be presented by Cohen & Cohen Catering, which has received rave reviews from patrons of years past, said Bean.
The City of Cape Coral Special Events division has worked year after year to improve upon this unique event, and the results show, said Bean.
“We’re extremely excited that the event is sold out once again,” she said. “It just goes to show how popular the event is and we continue to grow each year. The hard work is paying off.”
