City sponsoring shred day/donation drive at City Hall
The city of Cape Coral is teaming with Goodwill Industries to sponsor a Shred Day/Donation Day at City Hall Friday, Nov. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the City Hall parking lot at 1015 Cultural Park Blvd. Goodwill representatives from their Secure Shred Service will accept personal papers and sensitive documents containing information that can be used in identity theft. Representatives will shred these documents at no charge.Goodwill will accept one large bag of documents per person to be securely shredded. ?Goodwill also will be accepting donations of goods that can be used to raise money to help people with disabilities or other disadvantages. Residents can drop off items for donations such as clothing, shoes, household goods, linens, entertainment items (DVDs/CDs), small furniture, computers and electronics.
